WWR 2017 Has trained over 100 people in Cambria and Somerset counties with the help of Somerset Drug Free Communities and Twin Lakes Center.
Many times these civilians are the first responders in overdose situations. We hope that this life saving drug never has to be administered but it saves lives, PERIOD!
Although very few of us have found recovery without treatment, Most of us have been through a addiction treatment facility at least once.
Traditional treatment does work and we testify to that. Through are public events many people have found treatment and are living in recovery today.
Many of our members have been advocating for recovery for years, it wasn't until Feburary of 2017 that we joined forces with each other and began advocating at larger scale WWR 2017 events.
We Will Recover 2017 decended on Pennsylvania's Capitol in April in efforts to save the Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs from a proposed merger with other agencies.
